Twenty-four hours to the end of the entry for the enrollment of 10,000 police constables, the quantity of Nigerians that have connected to join the Nigeria Police Power has come to more than 294,851.
The enlistment, which started on November 30, 2018, was relied upon to close on Friday (Today) as required by the Government Character Commission which stipulated that ads for enrollments into Administrative Services, Offices and Organizations must keep running for about a month and a half to give candidates enough time to apply.
The representative, Police Administration Commission, Ikechukwu Ani, said in an announcement in Abuja on Thursday, that Niger State kept up its lead with 17,790 applications.
Bayelsa State, then again, kept its last position with 1,797 applications.
The announcement stated, “As at 12.30pm on Thursday, 294,851 applications have been gotten. Niger State is trailed by Kano with 16,800 and Katsina, 16,666. Lagos State is second from the back with 1,720 applications, trailed by Ebonyi State with 2,218.
“Male candidates kept on commanding the activity with 255,189 applications with females trailing with just 39,662 candidates.”
Executive of the Commission, Alhaji Musiliu Smith, a resigned Assessor General of Police, said after the conclusion of the gateway, the commission would begin online short-posting of qualified candidates.
The short recorded candidates, he included, would from that point be welcomed for screening and different phases of the enrollment work out.
